Attention student-athletes!

L.E.A.D., Inc. (Launch, Expose, Advise, Direct) in conjunction with our Education Partner, Maynard Holbrook Jackson High School, will host a tryout at Maynard on Saturday March 28th from 2pm - 4pm and Sunday March 29th from 4pm - 6pm. Players who are 14-18 years old who wish to be considered for this tryout should do the following:

• Complete L.E.A.D.’s online admissions application: Click here to access application. 
   
  
• Write an essay with no more than 250 words. Your essay should detail why you feel you are the right candidate for this program. Please email essays to info@lead2legacy.org with the subject line "Your Name - L.E.A.D. Essay" (example: Kelli Stewart - L.E.A.D. Essay) 
  
  
• Select 2 education professionals (teachers, counselor, principal, coach) to write one letter of recommendation each. Only 1 letter can be from a coach. Please have professionals email essays to info@lead2legacy.org with the subject line "Your Name - L.E.A.D. Recommendation" (example: Kelli Stewart - L.E.A.D. Recommendation)

Once at tryouts, players will have to complete a family interview with a L.E.A.D. volunteer so please make sure you have a parent or legal guardian present.

In order to participate, each player must have a signed waiver form. Please click here to print the waiver form and make sure you bring it to tryouts.

We encourage you to visit our main website at www.lead2legacy.org to learn more about our organization. L.E.A.D. is based on a service platform, meaning if you don’t serve in your community then you can’t participate in the amazing opportunities that L.E.A.D. provides.

Please be sure to click the registration link under the L.E.A.D. Tryout heading at the top of this page; you will get a message confirming your registration. Players should have their application, essay and letters of recommendation completed and on file with L.E.A.D. before March 28th.
